SPORTS PERFORMANCE MENTAL SKILLS TRAINING - Individual

Improve performance through mental training skills.  We can help you implement effective strategies to find your optimal zone of performance and decrease performance anxiety. We focus on effective goal setting, imagery, power phrases and improve mental toughness and motivtion.  By addressing your individual needs and concerns, we formulate a plan and offer to support for your personal success.

 

Elite athletes need to be mentally tough athletes and there are certain characteristics, experiences and skills that will help any athlete reach the highest level of their abilities.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE MENTAL SKILL TRAINING - Team/Group

Improve performance through mental training skills for your sports team or athletic group.  We can help motivate and implement effective strategies for the group by emphasizing team communication strategies, role understanding, leadership, cooperation, team building exercises and mental toughness for success.  We can address the team and individuals within the group who have specific needs and concerns.

COACHES/PARENTS - STRATEGIES FOR EFFECTIVENSS

 

In clinics and working one on one, we focus on techniques for coaching in a developmentally age appropriate way.  We focus on consideration of practice structure, cognitive age ability to process strategy and how and at what age to mentally prepare and build winners with encouragement and sandwich effect communication. Our training techniques include focus on skill development and developing intrinsically motivated athletes. We teach communication techniques to be used with your athletes, emphasizing empathy, role communication, improving mental toughness and developing the skills to improve your teams success.

 

For Parents, we offer group sessions for the parents of athletes on teams or we can work one on one to help every parent understand the needs of their child and the effective strategies for parenting an athlete. 

WELLNESS, FITNESS AND NUTRITION GOALS

 

We offer support for wellness goals for individuals or groups.  You don't have to do it alone, there's help. We will discuss exercise, training, nutrition and the whole body wellness through education of the mind body connection.  Support and accountability to achieve fitness, wellness and mental health goals through the use of exercise, nutrition and proven cognitive behavioral techniques that are tailored to your specific needs, interests and desires.  Exercise is a proven technique that can be used to help individuals overcome the challenges of anxiety and depression.
